Intro

Im Focus dieses Blogs steht meine kommende Reise nach Australien in 2016

Ich veröffentliche hier Dieses und Jenes was sich um die drei Monate in „down under“ rankt. Erzähle von den Menschen und erzähle Geschichten über meinen Alltag daheim, meine Gedanken, Pläne und über die Verwirrungen bei der Vorbereitung der Reise, sinniere über das "Warum" des Reisens, offenbare meine Zweifel, Glücksgefühle, Herausforderungen und beschreibe die Veränderungen.

Letztlich natürlich schildere ich die Reise selber, die noch bis Ende April 2016 geht!

Die Feiertage sind rum, obwohl ich glücklich gefüllte Tage bei der Familie und Freunden hatte, bin ich froh, ist es vorbei, bin an den Reisevorbereitung in der vorletzten Phase und freue mich tatsächlich auf den Job (man mags kaum glauben!) für die letzten 3 Wochen.

Ich habe viel weniger Bilder im Kopf, als vor der USA-Reise, meine Erwartungen sind eher ein wenig "langweilig" und die Aussicht auf 3 Monate einsames Autofahrens bilden sich in mir eher ambivalent ab.

ABER ... und das ist die gute Nachricht, ich bin bereit für ein Abenteuer ... oder für ganz viele und freue mich auf das Fremde ... wir werden sehen.

The holidays are over. Although it where happy filled days with the family and friends, I`m glad, it has an end. I`m bound in the pre-last preparations and look forward to the last 14 days of job.

There are much less pictures in my mind than before starting my USA_trip in 2013. My expectations are a kind of "boring" and in the view of lonesome 3 month behind the steering wheel is a little bit ambivalent.

BUT ... and this is the good news, I`m ready for an adventure ... or quite a lot of them and im looking forward to the "Strange" ... we will see.

Nach 5 Tagen und +/- 50 Std Job nun zwei Tage frei.

... die guten Nachrichten sind: erstens die Sonne scheint und es und nur noch 100 Tage bis Sydney!

After 5 days with +/- 50 hours jobbing, now two days no work.

The good news: the sun is shining and there are only 100 days left for to got to Sydney!

Heute geht der Job wieder los. Ich gehe mit gemischten Gefühlen. Diese Ferien waren sehr besonders ... aber deutlich anregender und interessanter als 4 Wochen am Strand rum zu hängen.

Today the job starts. I look at it with mixed feelings. This vacation was exceptional ... but clearly more stimulation and interesting than to hang up on a beach for 4 weeks.

Nach einer wunderbaren Woche in Kiel, am Montag zurück nach Luzern gefahren, fast 1100Km. Das Radlager wurde immer lauter, die Km zogen sich in die Länge. Etwas wie "daheim" und ein schöner Garten in Hildesheim und ein paar Stunden Familie und Pizza am Bodensee. Eine Entscheidung fiel über den Wagen in OZ ... aus vielen Gründen werde ich den Mietwagen dem Familienwagen vorziehen ... ich bin gern unabhängig.

After a wonderful week in Kiel I moved back to Lucerne on Monday. On round about 700 miles the wheel bearing becomes louder and louder and the miles stretched longer and longer. Something like "home" and a beautiful garden in Hildesheim and a couple of hours with family and pizza at the Lake of Constance. A decision was made for the car in OZ. I`ll prefer the rental car to the family car ... I like to be independent.

Um 3:30h am Morgen gestartet, nach 8 1/2 Stunden Fahrt gut bei Mama angekommen, gutes Essen, Ruhe und ein Spaziergang.

Der Toyota hat sich bewährt, fährt sich leicht und flockig.

At 3:30 AM started, after 8 1/2 hours lucky touch down at mothers home, good food, calmness and a walk.

The Toyota has proven itself, it runs light and fluffy.

Seit gestern hab ich frei ... noch bis Sonntag.

Wenn mich der Job mal loslässt und ich Zeit für den Rest von meinem Leben habe, bemerke ich das inzwischen mein Reisefieber gestiegen ist (z.Zt 37,4°C = erhöhte Temperatur). Nun sind es "bald" nur noch 8 Monate ... und in 3 Wochen gehe ich die Tickets kaufen.

Out of office since yesterday ... up to Sunday

If my job let me go for a while and I have time for the rest of my life, I realize, my travel fever is raised up meanwhile (currently 37.4°C/99.32°F = elevated temp.). In 15 days are only 8 month left ... and in 3 weeks I`ll buy the tickets.

Mal wieder eine Anpassung: wegen des Südsommers setze ich die Startzeit auf Juni 2016, wegen des DengueFiebers verzichte ich auf die Ideen für die Südsee und deswegen und wegen der Kosten reduziere ich die Reisezeit auf dreieinhalb Monate.

Ich bin damit nicht glücklich, aber auch nicht unzufrieden.

Once again an adaption: caused of austral summer I set the start of journey to the june of `16. Because of dengue fever I give up the idea of the South Seas and because of that and because of my money-saving-capacity I`ll reduce the durance of the trip to three and a half month.

I`m not amused about, but not unhappy at all.

Ein paar heisse Tage gehen zu Ende. Während der Zeit habe ich zwei Dinge gelernt:

1. dass ich noch nie Eistee getrunken habe

2. ... und wie man das Zeug selber macht, statt sich den überzuckert und überteuerten Shit von Nestlé zu kaufen:

einen 1l-Krug

3 Schwarzteebeutel (oder für Kids Rooibusch)

1 BioZitrone

ein paar Stücken frischen Ingwer

3 oder nach Geschmack, Kafilöffel RohRohrZucker

Tee kochen, 3 Min. ziehen lassen,

2 Scheiben der Zitrone mit Schale rein,

Zucker rein

aus dem Rest den Saft pressen,

1-2 Stück Ingwer reinschnippeln,

abkühlen lassen,

in den Kühlschrank

kalt trinken

1. I have never drunk iced tea

2 ... and how to make this stuff by yourself instead of buying the overpriced and over-sugared shit from Nestlé:

You need a 1 liter jug

3 black tea bags (or for Kids rooibos)

1 citron (biological)

a few pieces of fresh ginger

3 or fitting to your taste, teaspoon of cane sugar

Make tea, let stand for 3 minutes,

2 slices of lemon with peel pure,

pure sugar

squeeze the juice from the rest of citron,

1-2 pieces of sliced ginger ,

let cool down,

put in the refrigerator

drink cooled

Jeder kennt das Gefühl, es scheuert ein wenig am Rücken zuerst, Du kratzt Dich, es wird schlimmer, Du verdrängst es. Irgendwann merkst Du, jetzt ist es nicht mehr gut.

Der Waschzettel in der Unterhose oder im T-Shirt nervt. Plötzlich ist es sehr bewusst: Schere holen, fluchend ausziehen, abschneiden.

So oder so ähnlich ging es mir in den letzten Tagen: irgendwas juckte mich verteufelt!!

... und "peng" plötzlich war ich so genervt, dass ich wusste was es ist.

Diagnose:

SCHWERES REISEFIEBER

MIT CEREBRALEM UND CORONALEM AUSSCHLAG

Everyone knows the feeling, it rubs a little on the back first, You scratch yourself, it gets worse, you repress it. At some point you realize, now it is no longer good.
The blurb in the underpants or your T-shirt sucks.

Suddenly it is very conscious: fetch scissors, swearing taking off, cut off.
Like this it came to me in the last few days: something itched demonized!
And ... "bang" I suddenly I knew what it is.
Diagnosis:

Während ich das Badezimmer putze steht das Fenster offen. Der Wind rollt meine aufblasbare Weltkugel herum. Vor meinen Augen spult sich New York, Alaska, Tahiti, Australien, Japan ab. Keine schlechte Idee, Herr Wind!

Statt einen Monat auf Tahiti rumzuhängen, könnte ich die Welt umrunden.

Schnell gegoogelt: Papeete -> Sydney einfacher Flug für sage und schreibe 850 CHF. Ich werde drüber nachdenken.

While cleaning my bathroom, the window is open and the Wind rolled my inflatable globe around. My eyes scanned New York, Alaska, Tahiti, Australia, Japan.

Not a bad idea, Mr. Wind!!

Instead of hanging around one month at Tahiti, i should travel around the world.

Quick googled: Papeete to Sydney, a oneway ticket for measly $ 800. I`ll think about!!

FERIEN! Seit einer Woche und 2 Tage liegen noch vor mir. Wohnung zur Hälfte aufgeräumt. Den restlichen Tag mit Einkaufen und Kochen verbracht.

Hammerfein! ... ich bin wohl nicht mehr ganz nüchtern.

VACATION! Since one week and 2 days are left.

Clean the half of my home and spend the rest of day cooking and shopping.

The result:

I think you wont get the same components I used in USA, but the princip is:

5 parts CoconutMilk, 1 part liqueur with lemon taste, 2 parts RedBull ... shake it.

Fantastic!!! ... but now I`m a little bit off the rails.
