Dear readers

Nun ist es ein ganzes Jahr her, dass ich mich auf den Weg machte nach New York.
Now it is a year ago,  I did ​​my way to New York.

In mir rumort die Reiselust und die Ideen sprudeln vor sich hin.
Inside me are rumbling the travel bugs and the ideas are bubbling up.

Ich weiss, es ist noch ein Jahr und neun Monate bis ich wieder meinen Rucksack packen kann und ins Unbekannte reisen darf.
I know it's a year and nine months until I may pack my backpack and be allowed to travel into the unknown.

Obwohl meine Reisepläne sich laufend ändern, möchte ich Euch doch, anlässlich des Jahrestages, einen Status Quo geben.
Although my travel plans change constantly,  I like to give you on the occasion of the anniversary, a status quo.

Im Moment plane ich einen Zeitrahmen von 4 statt 3 Monaten ein.
Ich denke am 15. April 2016 zu starten und -eben- am 15. August 2016 zurück zu kehren.
Die derzeitige Route ist: Zürich - New York - Vermont - Yellowstone - Seattle - Homer (Alaska) - Papeete (Tahiti) - Sydney - Zürich
At the moment I am planning a one time frame of 4 instead of 3 months. 
I think to start at 15. of April 2016 and the return at 15. of August 2016. 
The current route is: Zurich - New York - Vermont - Yellowstone - Seattle - Homer (Alaska) - Papeete (Tahiti) - Sydney - Zurich

Da es nun erst westwärts geht und dann nach Norden, dann nach Südwest und anschliessend West und Nordwest, denke ich den BlogNamen ein wenig anzupassen - an die Route und an mein Feeling dafür ... so - in diesem Rauf und Runter - in dieser Beliebigkeit - bleibt nur ein Name möglich:
As it now first goes west and then north, then southwest and then west and northwest, I think the blog name have to be adjust a little bit - to the route and to my feeling for it ... so - this ups and downs - in this arbitrariness - remains just a name possible:

Die  Blogadresse bleib gleich / The blog adress remains the same

So bleibt letztlich alles wie es ist: die Planung in Bewegung und ich voller Vorfreude

So ultimately, everything remains as it is: the planning in motion and I full of joyful anticipation.

Je besser ich vorher plane, um so lockerer kann ich während der Reise mit den Tagen jonglieren.
The better I plan ahead to so loose I can juggle the days during the trip.

Mitte Mai 2015 gehts von New York nach Homer in Alaska.

- Prince Rupert
- Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands)
- Mit der Fähre an der kanadisch alaskanischen Küste hinauf bis Haines
- Fairbanks
- Homer
- Eine Schiffsreise entlang der Aleuten
dann mit dem Flieger nach Hawaii oder Tahiti

Soweit ... die Vorfreude.

- Using the ferry along the canadian-alaskian shores north to Haines

then by plane to Hawaii or Tahiti
